Writing Tips for Kids

Have kiddos that don't like writing or it's a challenge?
Tip 1: Binder
Place a binder on it's side. Place the paper on top for your kid to write on. A filled binder creates a light angle. An empty binder creates more of an angle. Experiment to see what works best for your child. Binders that are 2" and 3" work best.
Tip 2: Keep it Fun
Keep it fun! Kids will want to practice skills
when they don't know they're practicing. Because it's fun!
Have your kid use different items to write with. Experiment with what works for them (what they gravitate to) and roll with it!
Tip 3: Shape of Pencil
The shape of the writing implement makes a difference.
Triangle shape helps with finger grip. And not rolling away.
See which shape your child prefers.
Tip 4: Texture
Some kids will like texture on their pencils. And some will like them smooth.
